Albendazole, marketed as Albenza among others, is medication used for the treatment of a variety of parasitic worm infestations. It is useful for giardiasistrichuriasisfilariasisneurocysticercosishydatid diseasepinworm disease, and ascariasis, among others. It is taken by mouth.
